'Public Enemies' Movie Crew Makes Way Around Wisconsin

Film To Shoot In Madison, Milwaukee

UPDATED: 7:40 am CDT April 28, 2008

The crew from the big-budget movie "Public Enemies" is continuing to make its way around Wisconsin, with additional filming expected this week.

Columbus Mayor Nancy Osterhuas said the crew was in Columbus for three days last month, and brought in at least $350,000 for the city.

Film publicist Dave Fulton said the crew had been expected back there this week to film a driving scene and a home's interior early. But he said that's been postponed and hasn't yet been rescheduled.

Fulton said the schedule is still being revised, but the crew is expected to be somewhere in Wisconsin this week.

He said the crew also plans to shoot scenes during the next few weeks at the Capitol in Madison and in Milwaukee at the 95-year-old Milwaukee County Historical Society building, which once was the Second Ward office of First Wisconsin Bank.
