Kristy Lee Cook is the latest contestant to get the boot from "American Idol."

Cook had the lowest vote tally of the final seven contestants on the show and was eliminated Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old Oregon resident said that she had sold her horse so she could audition for the show, and she revealed Wednesday night the man who bought it won't sell it back.

Syesha Mercado and Brooke White were also in the bottom group.

Cook said that her run on the show has been "a huge dream" that came true because of people voting for her.

At least Cook went out with style: she sang her farewell performance sitting on the desk in front of Simon Cowell.

Next week, famed Broadway composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is the mentor for the remaining contestants.

The final six vying for the "American Idol" crown are White, Mercado, Carly Smithson, David Archuleta, David Cook and Jason Castro.
