Badger Basketball Tips Off Thursday Night Against Cal State-Fullerton

Tickets Sold Out

UPDATED: 8:40 am CDT March 18, 2008

The University of Wisconsin men's basketball Badgers will tip off the NCAA tournament against California State Fullerton at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday.

If they defeat the Titans, the next game would be on Saturday at 3:20 p.m. against the winner of the Southern California-Kansas State match-up.

Meanwhile, Marquette fans can catch the Kentucky versus Marquette game on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

All of the games will be televised on WISC-TV.

There are currrently no more tickets left for the Badgers' next game. Each school playing at the Qwest Center in Omaha received 350 tickets. The UW was able to get an extra 200, but they are already gone, officials said.

Tickets were distributed to coaches, players and their families, and donors to the Badger Fund with a $1,000 contribution or more. Remaining tickets were sold to students in a lottery, WISC-TV reported.

"We hope the team keeps winning because they will get more tickets the further they make it in the tournament, there is an increased potential," said Justin Daugherty with the UW Athletic Department.
