UW Among Top 10 Schools With Students Abroad
UW-Madison Students Studied In 74 Countries

MADISON, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison ranks among the top 10 schools for student participation in international study programs, according to a new report.The Institute of International Education report said Wisconsin's flagship university ranked sixth among U.S. research institutions in overall study abroad participation with 2,216 participants in the 2007-2008 academic year. That's up three spots from the previous year.UW-Madison students got credit for studying in 74 countries, compared with 60 in 2006-2007.
