The task force also called for more research to improve arts and creativity education.

It began meeting last year and was co-chaired by Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton and state Superintendent Libby Burmaster.

The group included 36 leaders from business, government, education and community arts organizations.

Its recommendations were released on Friday.
