University of Wisconsin System President Kevin Reilly will get a $73,000 raise next month.

The Board of Regents voted to give Reilly the big raise during a meeting at UW-Milwaukee. On July 1, he will earn about $414,600, up from about $342,000 now.

Reilly said that he will donate $70,000 of his raise to support need-based financial aid for UW System students.

The regents also confirmed Cornell Provost Biddy Martin as the next University of Wisconsin-Madison chancellor with a salary of $437,000, which is about $110,000 more than current Chancellor John Wiley earns.
