MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police said they have arrested a student in connection with a series of bomb threats at East High School.

Avery Moore, 18, was arrested on suspicion of three bomb threats.

Investigators said the school staff recognized Moore's voice and alerted police.

Police said Moore later confessed to a detective but said the calls were just pranks and he had no materials to make bombs.
