Committee Meets To Discuss Names For New Madison School
School To Open In September

MADISON, Wis. -- The push to name Madison's new, West Side school is moving forward.The citizens naming committee met for its first of five meetings on Tuesday night. The committee will work to cut a list of 87 proposed names down to at least four by Feb. 18.The Madison Metropolitan School District's Board of Education will pick the final name from that list, but not before a public hearing, WISC-TV reported.The new school, located in the Linden Park neighborhood, will open in September.Proposed Names for New MMSD Elementary School:
