Portion Of Beltline Buckling Because Of High Temperatures

Two Lanes Temporarily Closed

UPDATED: 4:08 pm CDT July 17, 2008

Two lanes of the Beltline at Highway 12 and John Nolan Drive are closed due to portions of the concrete buckling from the high temperatures.

The right and center lanes at that portion of the Beltline are closed for emergency repairs. The John Nolan exit is still open.

Dane County Sheriff's Department officials said all westbound lanes on the Beltline are now open.

The sheriff's department expects it will take at least an hour to finish work on the roads.
