Teen Charged In West Washington Shooting Appears In Court
Shooting Victim Is Recovering

MADISON, Wis. -- A Madison teenager accused in a shooting last month on West Washington Avenue appeared in Dane County Circuit Court Thursday.Michael Thomas, 17, has been charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide.Prosecutors said that Thomas shot Tyrone Wheeler outside the Dane County Mental Health Center on April 30.Police said that Wheeler is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
