Police: Woman Robbed Near Hilldale Shopping Center

Police Say Man Followed Woman Off Bus

Madison police said they are searching for a man who followed a woman off a Madison Metro bus to her home near Hilldale Shopping Center and robbed her on Tuesday night.

Police said that officers responded to a call in the 400 block of North Segoe Road around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim said she was followed off the bus to her home by a man who claimed to have a gun and who demanded money. Police said the man stole the woman's iPod and cell phone.

Police said the man ran away when confronted by the victim's roommate.
