When eight women walked down the aisle of Song Airlines flight 2591 Monday, it wasn't to get to the plane's bathroom.
Instead, they -- along with their fiances -- were married midflight between Orlando, Fla., and Las Vegas.
Song began the search for couples with a desire to wed on the "flying chapel" in July. Winners, who were chosen at random, exchanged their vows at 37,000 feet while en route to the wedding capital of the world. A Las Vegas-style reception greeted the newlyweds, who were then they were whisked away for a honeymoon at the Venetian Resort.
The multinuptial celebration kicked off Song airline's new service between Las Vegas and Orlando. Service from Las Vegas to Ft. Lauderdale, Boston and New York's John F. Kennedy Airport are also in the works.
