Max, who is an Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) is the smartest dog I have ever been owned by. He herds the chickens, llamas, goats and even the grandchildren. He also tries to keep fires in line when we burn outside. He will run circles around the fire, getting so close that he loses all of his whiskers, until I finally make him go in the house. He is my best friend and follows me everywhere.
