  • Expect snow to develop around 3 am Tuesday and then diminish around 1 PM Tuesday. A wintry mix of snow...sleet and freezing rain remains possible across parts of northeast Iowa into far southwest Wisconsin.
  • The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 6 am and noon Tuesday.
  • Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected...with the heavier amounts along and north of Highway 29 across north central Wisconsin.
  • Winds gusting of 30 to 40 mph later Tuesday afternoon and early Tuesday evening will cause widespread blowing and drifting snow...especially in higher terrain...open country areas and on ridge tops.
  • Plan on slippery Road conditions Tuesday...with falling snow the main problem during the morning commute...then blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibilities during the evening commute.
