What is your favorite part about living in Madison?
Packers and Badgers fans keep me honest - since I'm a Bears and Marquette fan.
What is the biggest sports story that you've covered?
NASCAR season finale, Border Wars between Mizzou & Kansas, bowl games, NFL, NBA postseason… too many to name.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
DVR & DVDs, exercising, traveling, sleeping.
What is your favorite kind of ice cream?
Chocolate mint chip edges out Neopolitan.
What is your favorite place to vacation?
Three-way tie: Las Vegas, San Diego, Miami.
Who is your hero and why?
My sister. She's the smartest, coolest, most brilliant person I've ever known.
What was your favorite band when you were in high school?
Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg.
What is your favorite sport to play or watch?
Play: Tennis, Basketball, Soccer. Watch: March Madness, college football.
If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be?
The ability to read somebody else's mind.
What are you really bad at that you'd love to be great at?
Golf. I'm so terrible.
What is your most memorable travel experience?
It's going to be when I go to Rio for the 2014 World Cup.
What is the worst job you have ever had?
Grounds crew for the City of Columbia (the people were fine, the work... not so fine).
What is your favorite tradition around the holidays?
Lounging around. Doing absolutely nothing. For many hours.

Always hit the cut-off man.
Where were you when September 11, 2001 occurred?
Asleep. I was working as a production assistant on the KMIZ morning news, and I was about to be called into work- for my first day of news photographer duty.
